Mom won't quit calling me her little genius.

So I went to the directing class today, right? I only got to go one day for the writing because I got sick. He read the scene I wrote anyway.

And now for the big news. (teehee) So in class, he mentioned how great the scene I wrote was. “Oh,” I thought to myself, “He’s only being nice.” So anyway, the whole class is walking to the studio and he walks with me to tell me how amazing my writing is. Then, after class, he says, “You, young lady, you keep writing.” and talked to me about how to advance the story forward and all that. We talked about a movie I’m wanting to make that follows the story of the killer rather than the victim, and we talked about making the audience have sympathy for the character and all that. And he’s Emmy award winning! :D

And now I have to make up an idea for a scene that we can improv a bit. I have lots of ideas, but most of them require quite a bit of props and way too much movement. I was considering a Victorian Asylum scene, maybe someone being dragged away or talking to their “Doctor”. Then I considered a bit from White Rabbit, where my main character is talking to her alternate self, but I’m the only girl and it wouldn’t work with guys very well I don’t think.

I hate being the only girl. Even the camera guys are…well, guys. Too much testosterone going around, there. But oh well. It’s worth it.

That’s all I’m going to write for now. Sorry, I just haven’t been feeling like it lately. I will eventually, I promise.
